Iran, Israel and Imran Khan

Dear Perch friends,

You might remember that a few months ago, the latest chapter of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict erupted into a small war between Palestinian forces in the Gaza Strip and the Israel Defense Forces.

Some of you wrote to us asking for an objective podcast on the subject because the media narrative was too politicized to figure out what was actually going on. So we reached out to Kamran Bokhari, the Director of Analytical Development at the New Lines Institute, to join us on the podcast to tackle this imposing subject.

We didn’t want to release the podcast too soon, as tensions were understandably high and we felt any analysis would likely get lost in the shuffle. And, in the meantime, Iran held important presidential elections, and Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan made some pretty ludicrous statements about China’s treatment of its ethnic Uighur Muslim population.

Luckily for you, Kamran is an expert in all these issues and shared his perspective on all this and more on the podcast. You can listen to the podcast, or just read the transcript if you are too busy to listen, by clicking on our new fancy-shmancy podcast page here.

As always, write to us at info@perchperspectives.com if you’ve got questions or comments on this most recent episode, or if we can help you manage geopolitical risks with your supply chains or your investments.

Cheers and Happy Tuesday!
