Asa Craig serves as a strategic adviser at Perch Perspectives. With experience and expertise in corporate, government, and nonprofit sectors, Asa provides additional strategic direction to Perch Perspectives’ team of researchers, writers, and analysts.
He has held positions at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, the Black Economic Alliance, the Pennsylvania Governor’s Office of General Counsel, and the Urban Institute’s Policy Advisory Group.
He previously was a manager and research/policy analyst at the Laura and John Arnold Foundation. Prior to joining the Foundation’s education team, Asa worked for an international nonprofit in New York City, where he specialized in communications and external outreach.
Asa holds a master’s degree in public affairs from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs as well as a bachelor’s degree in government and Africana studies from Cornell University. In addition to his studies, Asa served as the only undergraduate student on Cornell University’s Board of Trustees.
